The date of printing is probably between 1509 and 1518. In other imprints of this period the printer's name appears variously as Herman de Kempis, Kempos and Campos. cf. p. 8 9: also J. Title of facsimile of the "Regimento": Regimento do estrolabio : do quadzante pera saber ha declinaçam : ho logar do soll em cada hu?m dia : asy pera saber ha estrella do nozte. A later edition, which is appended to the "Tractado da spera do mundo" in a volume of the library of Evora and has been reprinted in various editions of the "Reportorio dos tempos" of Valentin Fernandes, is known as "Regimento da declinaçam do sol". "Tractado da spera do mundo" is a translation of Sacro Bosco's Tractatus de sphaera (Sphaera mundi) with title (P. 25 of facsim.) : Tractado da spera do mundo tyrada de latim em liguoagem com ha carta que hu? grande doutoz aleman mandon ao rey de purtugall dom Joham et seg?do. The letter follows the text of Sacro Bosco, without caption or spacing (p. 60 of facsim., Line 24), and begins : A cartta que enuiou hieronima moñtario douto alemã da cidade de noz?b'ga em alemania ao serenissimo rey dõ Joham o seg?do de portugail … It is dated July 14, 1493. The introduction (31 p.) by Joaquim Bensaude is also issued separately.
