The entire Spencer collection (about 40,000 volumes) was purchased by Mrs. Rylands in 1892, and now forms part of the John Rylands library, Manchester. A catalog, by Gordon-Duff, was issued in 1899 (3 v. 30 cm.) Block books, v. 1, p. 1-lii; Bibles, v. 1, p. 1-132 (nos. 7-52); Caxtons, v. 4, p. 171-350 (nos. 836-883); Wynkyn de Worde, v. 4, p. 395-416 (nos. 900-912)”
